A Cry to the Moon

A Cry to the Moon by Enea I

A howl of the heart I learned from lost wolves calling out.
A tear stained plea on a late night where my GPS isn’t in my car but in a bottle.
A desperate rocket sent for the hundredth time with all the strength and fuel mania can give.
A glass hope hardly holding together after being cracked one too many times.
“Please let me feel better tomorrow.”

Enea I.

I am originally from Germany. My family fled there after the war started in Yugoslavia.

I enjoy writing and listening to music. I hope to make writing into a career one day. I’m currently working on a few short stories and two collections of poetry.

If you would like to see some of my shorter poems you can follow my Instagram @eneawritespoems . Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you have a wonderful day.
