We do not pay writers for submissions. What this magazine offers: one copy of Paper Wings* (*U.S. addresses only, all other country participants receive the e-book), multi-channel promotion of you and your written work with free features on our social media channels. This increases exposure and credibility for you on social media, and serves as a credit on your author resume.
This Poetry Magazine is self-funded, with a goal to pay writers for accepted submissions as soon as financially possible. We will update this page when this change occurs. Thank you!

Submissions must be your own original work, and you must submit your real full name with your submission. *You must submit your legal name for consideration. We request pseudonyms before publication for those who wish to remain anonymous.
We don’t accept submissions with spelling errors and grammar mistakes. Writing tools are available to help with this. Eve Poetry is an affiliate of ProWritingAid and Grammarly. These are products we recommend and use ourselves and both offer free tools.
Volume II theme: Paper Wings. Freedom in the art of expression, through words, or whatever this means for you. Genre is open. We seek strong voices from every walk of life!
Short Story word limit: 1500 words or fewer. Poetry: Minimum of four lines.
Submissions close April 13, 2020. We’ll send emails of acceptance by April 25, 2020.
Submission Limits. Short Stories: You may submit two short stories for consideration. Poetry: You may submit up to six poems for consideration. Please submit multiple entries within the same submission form.
Rights revert to authors upon publication.
We do not accept previously published written work. Work published electronically is okay.
Simultaneous submissions are acceptable as long as we’re notified immediately if another publication selects your work.
