Resources for Writers

On this page you’ll find an assortment of resources for writers recommended by Eve Poetry. Resources include: editing tools, proofreading tools, writing software, discounts to print your work, and resources Deanna finds helpful to treat writing as a business. As I finds great offerings and features, I’ll continue to add to this Resource page! I am creating affiliate relationships with companies who I believe add value to my life, and who I feel comfortable recommending to you!

Grammarly Writing Support

While at Willamette Writers Conference in August, two programs came highly recommended: Grammarly (above) and ProWritingAid (below). I will use BOTH before officially submitting my manuscript to the literary agents that requested them at the conference. Both have options to try before you buy.

Writing Improvement Software

Here’s a Deanna “Life Hack” for you! Have you ever wanted beautiful prints of your poetry? Did you ever think about taking advantage of companies like Minted? Um, well, you should! Take advantage of the sale below, and print your favorite poem. You can also use them to resell your work and start up your own poetry shop. I’ll do my best to keep up with the latest savings for you! There is one going on now, see below:

Scrivener is the tool I (Deanna) use to write my novel. It is also the tool that every writer I know uses. I can’t recommend Scrivener highly enough. It’s an essential resource for writers looking to write novels, screenplays, or just about anything else. It made my first novel possible!

Scrapple is a resource to help you brainstorm you project. It’s the sister software to Scrivener. I WISH I had known about Scrapple at the start of my first novel. I plan on using it for my next book to help me map out my storyline and plan.
